Our Story

My love of gardening began with my dad who was always growing something in our yard. Whether it was vegetables or grapes, he taught me the principles of organic gardening.  My grandmother (his mom) had a love of flowers and had a huge garden filled with many different varieties; my personal favorite being morning glories. She taught me the ancient practice of seed saving, a principle I still carry on today.  I have seeds and plants now growing in my gardens that are from her plants in New York.

My journey into herbs began later in life while working in preschool and my students and I made two different salves.  One was Herbie Green and the other Flower Power as the kids named them.  We picked all the things they loved in the garden and created these two products.  We gave them away to the parents who loved them and gave us feedback that it was helping their dry skin and eczema.  We started a farmers' market at our preschool, selling all the things we made. 

I enrolled in herbal education programs, took courses and studied for two years learning more about herbs and started to create products for my family and friends.

I renamed Herbie Green to Restore Skin Salve and the Flower Power oil is used in our face cream. ​

Williams Botanicals came to life!!

My passion is gardening, and I truly believe in the power of plants.  ​My mission is to help educate and produce cleaner, safer products for families and their children.

I still study with herbalist today.
